Keeping and serving your pastéis de nata

A pastel de nata is best eaten the same day: the puff pastry decides, and it softens as it takes up moisture from the custard. Keep them at room temperature rather than in the fridge if you are eating them within the day. Straight from the cold, a few minutes in the oven at 180 °C brings the crispness back — far better than the microwave, which leaves the base soggy.

Large quantities, offices and events

For an office platter, a meeting or a family gathering, tell us the number of pieces and the date and we will confirm it is feasible before you order. Use the contact form for larger volumes rather than the online cart.

Two dates to avoid

We do not deliver on 25 December or 1 January, the only days the business closes. The details are on the closures and public holidays page; every other public holiday is covered.
