A holiday photo, the company logo, the drawing a child brought back from school: all of it can sit on a cake. Wooly Pâtisserie prints your image in edible ink, on an edible sheet, and works it into pastry assembled in its Brussels workshop. The bespoke cake starts at €190 for 1.5 kg, printing included.
Personalisation is not a sticker pressed on at the last minute. The image is printed, cut out, then placed where the chosen shape allows. That work sits inside the same two week lead time as any bespoke order.
Three degrees of personalisation
- The message. First name, age, a short sentence, piped by hand or cut from a sugar sheet.
- Colours and theme. You give a palette or a world, we tune the ganache, the smoothing and the decorative pieces to it.
- The printed image. Photo, logo, illustration, club crest: the file you upload is reproduced as it is in edible ink.
Nothing is trimmed on the cake. We print the whole image, then cut the motifs out and place them on top, around the sides, or both, depending on what holds best at the size chosen.
What your file should be worth
Edible printing forgives less than a screen does. A few useful markers:
- Accepted formats: JPG, PNG and PDF.
- At least 600 × 600 pixels; the larger the print, the more definition counts.
- A subject standing clear of a light background cuts out far better.
- A vector logo sent as PDF gives the cleanest line.
- A very dark image loses force: edible ink colours stay soft, close to watercolour.

Cake, or small pieces ?
Two carriers exist, and they do not serve the same occasions.
The bespoke cake carries one large image and is cut in front of the guests. It starts at €190 for 1.5 kg, roughly 8 to 10 servings, with six flavours to choose from.
The personalised cupcakes each carry a printed 5 cm disc. They are handed out with no knife, no plate and no cutting: handy for a stand, an office or a school yard. Count €6.90 each, minimum 36 pieces per order, in chocolate, vanilla and red velvet, split as you like.

For which occasions
The requests we receive most often: a child's birthday with the favourite animal, baby shower, wedding, graduation, retirement party, product launch, seminar with the logo on every piece. A company can ask for an invoice in its name: say so when you make the request.

If your project fits inside the product page options, order online: the file uploads from the dedicated tab, the price settles once you pick the weight or the quantity.

Frequently asked questions about personalisation
Which files can I send ?
JPG, PNG and PDF. Aim for at least 600 × 600 pixels for a sharp image; a vector logo sent as PDF gives the cleanest line. Upload happens from the « Personalise with your image » tab on the product page.
Is the image cropped ?
On the cake nothing is cut away: we print the whole image, then cut the motifs out and set them on top, around the sides, or both, depending on the shape and size chosen. On a cupcake the carrier is a 5 cm disc: the frame is round, so the subject belongs in the middle.
Does the taste change ?
Edible ink is laid on a smooth sugar sheet. It does not flavour the pastry. Colours come out soft, a little like watercolour: a bright image reads better than a very dark one.
What does a personalised piece cost ?
The bespoke cake starts at €190 for 1.5 kg, image personalisation included. Cupcakes with a printed image are €6.90 each, with a minimum of 36 pieces per order.
Can a company logo be printed ?
Yes. Seminar, product launch, graduation, retirement party: the logo is repeated identically on every piece of the same order. For an invoice in the company name, say so in the contact form.
What about allergens ?
Printing removes nothing from the recipe and adds nothing to it. Consult our allergens page and flag any allergy before confirming: we would rather look at your concrete case than answer in general.
