What you will find in the shops
The pastel de nata first, sweet or savoury: crisp puff pastry and an egg custard caramelised in the oven. Then the Portuguese snacks, such as rissóis, chamussas, empadas and pastéis de bacalhau, the sweet specialities, such as salame de chocolate or pastel de Tentugal, the cheesecakes, the orange roll and the cupcakes.
