What is the difference between Pastel de Nata and Pastel de Tentugal?
The Pastel de Nata comes from Belém (Lisbon) — a round custard tart with a golden top. The Pastel de Tentugal comes from Coimbra — a half-moon puff pastry with a finer egg cream. Both are available at Wooly.

A Portuguese bakery in Waterloo
Waterloo is our founding shop: Wooly opened at Chaussee de Bruxelles 193-195 in 2015, and this is where the pastel de nata recipe was perfected. Eleven years later it is still the reference address for a pastel de nata in Waterloo and across Walloon Brabant.
Chaussee de Bruxelles is the town's main road, the one linking Waterloo to Brussels. Parking is available along the road, right in front of and next to the shop, which makes this our easiest address to reach by car. By public transport, the TEC W bus connects Waterloo to Brussels and serves the road.
Customers here are very local: families from central Waterloo, orders for parties and birthdays, and a steady flow of people stopping on their way between Brussels and Walloon Brabant. The shop is open seven days a week, 10am to 7pm on weekdays and from 9am on Saturdays.
