Empadas
Our empadas, with 2 fillings: chicken or suckling pig. A generously filled little pie at 3.90 EUR each, for drinks, a buffet or a quick meal.
The empada is a small Portuguese pie: a shortcrust pastry case, filled, topped with a pastry lid and baked in the oven. In Portugal it belongs to the salgados, the savoury bites eaten at the counter or with drinks, alongside rissóis and pastéis de bacalhau.
Two fillings to choose from: chicken or suckling pig. Both at the same price, 3.90 EUR each.
Who for? For drinks, a company buffet or a party: empadas are ordered by the piece, mixed with our other Portuguese savouries, and delivered to your door in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany, on the date you choose. You will also find them in our 4 shops in Brussels and Waterloo.
Storage: keep 3 to 4 days in the fridge; reheat for 5 to 7 minutes in the oven or air fryer at 180 °C.
Wondering which is which? We published the guide: Empanada, chamuça, rissol: which is which?.
