What the dessert says to the participants
A conference is also a message to the people listening. An industrial pastry on a paper cloth says nothing; a counter staffed by two people serving by hand says their day has been thought about. It is the only argument we defend here, because it is the only verifiable one: the rest, the room and the programme, is not ours.
Translation, international audience, allergens
Brussels conferences often gather an audience that speaks neither French nor Dutch. Our crew serves in French, Dutch, English and Portuguese. The ingredient list is available at the counter for participants who ask, and the crew never guesses: if the information is not certain, they say so rather than reassure wrongly.
The half past three break
That is the low point of the day: attention drops, the morning coffee is long gone, the next plenary starts in twenty minutes. A counter outside gets the room out, which beats a tray at the back. The format fits in thirty minutes of service for sixty people, without stretching the programme. Organisers often ask us to be ready ten minutes before the bell, so the queue exists by the time the doors open.
A format that does not overrun the programme
A conference is judged on timing. We schedule setup before doors open or during a session, never during a break, and we announce a firm finish time. If the programme slips by fifteen minutes, tell the crew on site rather than the office: they adjust the service. Beyond the hours included in the order, an extra hour costs €60, decided on the spot.
On a campus or in a business park
Head offices, science parks and university campuses all impose the same constraint: a barrier, a badge, and a guard who was not told. Send us the site name, the logistics gate and the security contact when you book. We arrive with a number plate to register and ask for nothing beyond an ordinary power socket.
Service that fits your programme
We work around your timing, not the other way round. You give us the break time and its length: the truck is hot and ready when the doors open, and service flows across the whole slot without queues when the window is sized correctly. For a multi-day conference we can come back each day.
Outside a conference centre or a hotel
We operate outside seminar venues, hotels and coworking spaces, in Brussels as well as Wallonia and Flanders. The truck plugs into an ordinary power socket: that is all you need to arrange with the venue, and we bring the extension leads. All we need is an authorised, reachable spot.
What it costs for a professional group
At €3.90 per piece including VAT, a break for 80 delegates comes to less than most premium break packages billed by conference centres, travel included. Orders start at 100 pieces in steps of 100, and every 100 pieces includes one hour on site: comfortably enough for a thirty-minute break.
